So far, my mother-in-law got me a set of Rachel Ray cookware because it is orange. My father-in-law is coming over tonight and he usually loads me up with a ton of UT stuff since he works in the AD and gets it on the cheap. No idea what my parents or wife will have for me.
The whole vinyl being better than digital thing. It just doesn't make any sense. With a good setup, I could play you something on vinyl and then a digital recording, and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Hoping for bourbon. Will be a happy camper. Booked a trip to Jade Mountain for my old lady. Excited about that.
If you haven't already I've a couple for you to try ... Evan Williams Single Barrel and Willett Pot Still Reserve Jade Mtn. and St Lucia are simply amazing. Enjoy!
Well, it was either a vacation or lunch everyday for the next three years. I don't get that hungry midday anyway.
It's not just the audio, there is a bigger appeal, at least to me. I love the look of a record player, a vinyl record, the sleeve that holds the record. Also, they have value as opposed to a mp3 file, which is worthless. I plan to amass a very nice collection and give it to my sons one day.
