I think RBG should retire, honestly. I don't think she can wait out the next 2 years. That said, if you think the stress and needs of the POTUS and a SCOTUS member are remotely the same, I believe you are a bit wrong.
She has stated she wishes to serve until she is 90, if able. That is when the two oldest justices in history both retired.
I'm sure she's clear as a bell. Mind no different than when at Harvard or as a judge 40 years ago. Nothing changes in the brain over that time.
He meant to say, what does her being a woman have to do with her role as a Justice? Weren’t you just barking because I called you a bigot the other day? Label this Exhibit MXX.
It’s a lifetime appointment. If anyone wants RBG gone before she’s ready or dead, let them impeach her. Good. Luck.
Yeah i dont think a 85 year old man or woman should be there. So happens she is a she amd the topic. And you can call me a dumbass bigot all you want.
There's some leftward chess being played against Pelosi, involving Ocasio-Cortez. O-C and some protesters sat in protest within Pelosi's office, demanding a climate change plan. Either she gives it, or it gets even easier to not back her for Speaker. I like it. Pelosi talks a very liberal game, but doesn't actually do much. She shouldn't get cover for lip service. She certainly doesn't get partial credit for lack of real action from the Right anyway.
You feel this way because you have stacked the court. You would feel differently if the court were expanded.
Let me state without hesitation or ambiguity: she should not be forced to retire, told when to retire, have mentioned to her outside her family the word retire. I was just stating my opinion. I understand full well the need for the SCOTUS to be a lifetime appointment.
