more resources, no biological impacts. imagine a time when earth is only for raising kids and looking at wildlife.
Like any sci-fi future novel, movie, tv show etc, space is for the poor folk, while us rich folk get to enjoy the Earth and 1G. Eventually the Belters, Martians, and colonies will rebel against us and build giant space robots of death.
[uck fay] you, hippie. If there isn’t a Dunkin Donuts and a Wal-Mart on Mars, or a group for me to oppress and/or gang rape, I’m out.
That’s the long game...not to be alone on a colonized Mars, but to send everyone else there, so as to have the earth to yourself.
Posted this is another thread, but about Bezos, the moon, and all of that - https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2019/05/jeff-bezos-moon-nasa/589150/
I'm not sure if Starbucks is a trojan horse for conservatives or for liberals. or just a trojan horse for normalizing 6 bucks for a coffee drink.
I don't drink coffee, but my daughters will drink this stuff 3 times a day. I'm not a fan of the food there either.
Starbucks is trash ass shit. It’s an oddity of taste, insofar as it’s both flat and acerbic. Dunkin Donuts is the best mass produced coffee. Anyone who says otherwise is a retard who should have been aborted.
Coffee sucks. You wouldnt have to add cream or sugar if it was any good. I think people mainly drink it to look cool
I drink it because I've got a 7, 4 and 2 year old and I've either been changing diapers or potty training a kid for 5 years
Boy started asking me about black holes and such last night. I quickly realized I should be asking him about black holes because he knows a lot more than I do. He's going to live on Mars. It's inevitable.
I drink Starbucks in airports when I travel. It's not my favorite coffee, but it's generally pretty consistent. I like knowing what I'm getting.
