I laughed a LOT harder at that than it deserves. But damn, Kiffin is king of Twitter.

Up to 124 decibels. New record for Neyland. Has to be among the highest legitimate in-game sound levels. No Kansas City bullshit.

I just watched it again. He did NOT illegally jump over the center, as it looked like. He hurdled the guard next to the center. Man, that was [uck fay]ing close he was in the backfield in a damn hurry.

I read something that said at 124 decibels, it only takes 3.5 seconds to reach your exposure limit.

And that was, by far, the loudest I've ever heard a game in that stadium. I've been to well over 100 games there and nothing else comes close.

Usually I agree, but his flatness in that moment Saturday night was impeachable on it's own.

But I do agree that listening to him on the radio is a painful experience, and added excitement would never fix that.

Also, one of my favorite things is when the crowd is already as loud as humanly possible and it causes a false start and it then, somehow, immediately gets louder.

previous record was 118 decibels in 2016 against Oklahoma. Decibels are on a logarithmic scale such that 124 is a LOT louder than 118 decibels in terms of power.
