2024 Recruiting Class Thread

I've been quiet because I am not sure if it is racist or not.

 

It’s not racist.

But there’s definitely a double standard

 

I don’t think Seaton looks like Prime at all. I actually may look more like Prime than Seaton

 

For all we know Seaton also has 8 toes. Those people have to stick together.

 

Discussions about racism arising in the recruiting forum? Feels very Volnation of us.

 

VN would be fapping if we had a black head coach reeling in kids like Seaton that used a recruiting pitch like that (and it worked).

 

Seaton looks like he ate Prime.

 

Now we've lost our TE recruit. Johnathan Echols, from this class to USF and Golesh. This fall sports season at UT has been a remarkable kick in the balls, even for our usual standards.

As for recruiting, we've had zero commits since August and a steady stream of losses for high level players.

 

Apparently the coaches aren't upset about losing him. He had 14 catches this season at IMG.

 

Just saw that, too. We must feel confident about the Notre Dame transfer and the other kid from Louisiana or something.

 

This, though, is good news.

 

Yeah if we don’t finish top 10 that is really disappointing seeing as this should be the class last year had the most impact on. Still some studs coming in at least.

 

Pretty obvious he was processed out.

 

I don’t think we have enough dudes left on the board to finish top 10. Maybe top 10 in the combined HS + portal rankings.

I guess some guys may still enter the picture like the 5 star TAMU commit.

 

Wonder if coaches will just start hitting the portal for older TEs. Most young TEs don’t play unless they are elite due to needing weight and blocking on D1 level. Why not snag stronger and experienced TEs every year instead of high schoolers.

 

For one reason, the math doesn't work. Maybe the top teams can do it, but not every P5 team or even the top half of the P5.

 

We didn’t really make use of TE’s this year. Maybe that’s by design.

 

If we could turn back the clock a few years and invest that time in convincing Milton to move to tight end, he might‘ve been a gooden.

 

Nah. He just doesn’t have it in him.
