Netflix Streaming Recommendations/TV Talk

A little nervous about where it is going. "Magneto was right" is pretty dark.

 

They are amalgamating story lines from the comic books, so it’s hard to be sure. He gets godlike powerful and can grab the iron in your blood and freeze you. This is about the time he forces Xavier and Wolverine to really get their hands dirty.

 

Gut says we’re headed to X-men vs avengers. Saw someone say House of M might be in play.

When he said “enough” the hair on my arms stood up.

Logan just casually drinking a beer after it like well, I guess it finally happened was funny.

 

That captain America and Spiderman were just casually thrown in would seem to support that they are building to a larger crossover.

 

They've done it in the comics, it is extremely dark

 

Dr Doom and Baron Zemo too

 

Just when I think "woah, that's pretty far" they take the next step.

 

Been spending a lot of time streaming so started Homeland and Ozark again.

 

Which leads to Onslaught

 

Straight out of the comic book it happened in too

 

We have officially gone past my XMen knowledge with that ending.

 

It's a mix of about 10 different comic storylines.

 

I did notice we didn't see Wolverine the last 5 minutes of that. Wonder if that's somehow playing into the upcoming movie.

 

I haven't watched it yet but I'm betting Apocalypse shows up at the end, Xavier mind blasts Magneto and the x-men fake their deaths.

Apocalypse is resurrecting Gambit as a Horseman and will give Wolverine his adamantium back

The X Men end up scattered all over. If Jean dies, she'll come back as the Phoenix.

This show is awesome, it's like a fever dream for 11 year old me.

 

Well no shit Apocolypse shows up at the end

 

I haven't seen the last episode yet either, but I agree that this the kind of thing you dream about as a kid when the show was cancelled.

I liked the Peter Parker and Mary Jane cameo.

 

And speaks English before it had even been invented.

 

Just finished The Pacific on Netflix. At first, I didn't like it nearly as much as Band of Brothers, but it quickly took over and I think it was even better. It was more personal than BoB and followed the men after war and showed the struggle of vets when coming home to peace.

And what those Marines had to deal with fighting the Japanese was insane.

Very powerful.
