I don't think Currie reacts this way unless he has Hoke calling him telling him something should be done.
Decision to post video was selfish and stupid as [uck fay]. But everything he said was probably accurate.
Yes. He calls Butch and staff out and asks for a top notch coach. Idgaf if he says [uck fay] or dammit a lot. Sure that deserves discipline as its not a good look - but not dismissed from the team by a guy who is butthurt he's only going to be here 4 more days. And apparently Jennings hasn't really been part of team activities or around the team anyway up until Butch was fired.
Jennings didn’t say anything Dormady, Jack Jones, and Boulware haven’t said (maybe slightly less colorfully). He just put it on the internet.
The official statement certainly made it seems that way. Said he consulted with Currie and in the end I made the decision to dismiss him from the team. I bet Currie pretty much said I have trust that you're going to make the right decision and will stand by it.
Seems like his dismissal was announced within about five minutes of the video being posted. Seems fishy.
Agreed. Video was made in response to something. And I imagine dismissal had more to do with that than the video. Still, seems unwise for that to be Hoke's decision beyond the Vandy game.
I agree. A guy who is going to be head coach for 3 more days should only get to make decisions that affect those 3 days.
I, for one, am glad to see Currie letting our future HFC take full responsibility for personnel decisions even prior to being announced as coach. Just make sense to let Coach Hoke take the reigns on things like this.
