Silly season is upon us.

 

Hopefully Tennessee can flip Van Jefferson. I believe he is an EE but supposedly his dad wants him at Tennessee which can't hurt and he still plans to visit. I wouldn't mind having his dad on staff either. I love the way he coaches. He puts on pads and mixes it up with Titan receivers. He's been all over Justin Hunter since he showed up.

 

If Bobo leaves and they make a good hire, could Williams be gone?

 

I think it would be hard for someone to help them but Hobo leaving may help UT with Pat Allen.

 

Only gonna visit TN now.. Says he is solid to TN

 

Apparently he will visit Auburn.

“Tennessee’s been my first love, you know what I’m saying?” said Williams, a star at Lovejoy High School in Hampton, Ga. “I got the offer, and it was always my favorite school growing up. They say I fit the program well, ‘cause I’m just that big-bodied receiver outside (or) big in the slot.”

Williams later told 247Sports’ Keith Niebuhr he’s “still committed to Tennessee” but also considering Auburn and Georgia.

"I'm looking at them equal, but I'm still committed to Tennessee," Williams told Niebuhr.

The other was to Paul Fortenberry around 12.... Weird that he changed his tune

 

It seems the kid is just weird. Nothing could happen in his recruitment that would surprise me all that much.

If we had other WR in this class I don't think he'd be worth the trouble.

 

He's the best WR in this class. No way you don't take him.

I'm not worried here. He's been committed for a year and a half (longer than anyone except Jones and Butcher).

 

Definitely, he's an elite talent for sure. Hoping he makes a full recovery and is in orange next year.

 

He's testing the FA market.

 

I'd be a lot more worried if both knees were intact
