This point last year, Barbara's boy had 5 total commits. Butch has 4 this week.

 

Which should be noted the next time we have a ****ing moron running the AD that says it's too difficult to recruit to UT. Should have been fired on the spot for that statement.

Everyone knows that Dooley just needed one more year. He really laid the groundwork for this class.

I was flying back from Lexington, and he told me so.

 

And he will surpass that 5 by the end of the weekend. Butch is gonna have 6-7 this week if reports are correct.

 

I can't believe this class is about to be 90% full

I have a feeling that Butch is going to end up in on some huge recruits by the time all is said and done. This class could be special.

 

Nothing counts until signing day of course but Butch's plan to get recruits and alumni to recruit for/with them seems basic, but a great plan. When kids are leaving home and feel like they are with friends and family, there is little doubt in my mind that it leads to better teams because they play for each other and are accountable to each other. Coaches come and go. When the players play for each other, wins follow.
