I think Oliver signs with the Vols. I could see Miller encouraged to look elsewhere, especially with Martin and Abernathy coming in and Boulware might end up at OSU or UGa. The other guy that would make sense to "upgrade" would be replacing Bruce with Newsome but I just don't see them recruiting over a kid from their back yard. Besides, I think Newsome goes to Texas.

I could see them take two more, hopefully Allen and one of either Love or Lewis then keeping everyone else.

 

If Bruce wasn't in their final plans they probably shouldn't have given him an offer so early. Could have snatched him up late, rather than giving themselves a black eye by kicking out the hometown kid.

I agree. He may be a very good player but I was just looking over the commit list and that is really the only other guy that I could see besides Miller. Austin Smith is a 3* but they love that guy and not to mention his connection with Picou. Perry is another guy but too many good things have been said about him. This is really a great problem to have as we wouldn't have any trouble finding players we'd want to replace when Dooley was in town.

 

I don't think so, either. That would be a sign of really poor planning on the recruiting trail. That's one thing you definitely haven't seen yet from Jones.

 

Think about our upcoming QB situation.

 

Part of his offer, which I'm speculating, could be a greyshirt or a blueshirt and that's why he got offered early on

 

Blue shirting has been speculated for a few guys. Next year's class could end up being a more normal sized class.

 

I've heard to expect between 18-20 in next class.
