They had a 5'7 leviathan that converted a key 1st down. Our five stars just aren't as big as their 2 star red dwarfs.
Yeah but they've both had disastrous years as well. And from what I see, involving yourself with football at this University makes you the worst possible version of yourself
Honestly. It looked like the staff put no preparation into this game. The players fed off that and played that way. If you re a good football team you look ugly for a quarter maybe a half, your leadership comes forward and you still win by 4 tds. If you re UT you re scratching and clawing late in the game just to save some face and win by 3. This team lacks leadership from the top down. When that's the case you cant even walk away with an ugly win. That may not be what happened, but it sure looked that way. Buckle up and hope. Change is not close and I wouldnt put much hope in it even if it did happen.
At least SC didn’t flat out quit against a team that not only is taking home a big fat check, but a W too... SC lost to a name brand program. We got our pants pulled down at home by a 2-9 sunbelt program that hasn’t even been playing football five years. This was THE most embarrassing loss in program history.
I just can't wrap my head around how easily we were pushed around on the line. All that bullshit about the offseason program and bigger, badder dudes and they were punched in the mouth. Usually, a lower level team has to make some ridiculous plays, misdirection, etc. to win these games. They just shoved it up our ass and no one cared.
I'm not sure the reason why but if that was the thought process they learned a painful lesson today. The type that removes any equity you may have had and removing any room for error you have going forward.
The DL outside a handful of plays off the edge were totally manhandled. The OL was not good but not as terrible as the DL.
