Oh man that was a terrible pitch.

 

Because their previous head coach who was fired for literally betting against Alabama was a clown and Zane Denton knew it. Plus Tennessee needed a 3rd baseman and Zane wanted to come back and play for his home state. Perfect opportunity and timing

Only reason he went to Bama initially is because Vitello was still new when he was graduating HS and already had established a multi year relationship with the now ex-Alabama head coach
