2024 Vols Baseball

I figure that this will either regroup them or we can deliver a kill shot this weekend. This doesn’t seem to be a normal Corbin team.

Here's the thing about Vandy athletics: they are incredibly fragile. They do not reload. If they fire Corbin, it is more likely than not they do not rebound and that program continues to fade. Look what happened to Vandy basketball and football. They are not competing at an SEC level in terms of overall largesse towards attracting players and develop a culture that isn't [uck fay]ing cringe.

 

Corbin basically benefited for years from Vandy being able to avoid the scholarship limits in baseball.

Now that NIL exists, that advantage is gone as schools can essentially offer free rides using both NIL and scholarship dollars.

 

What do we figure we need to win the conference? 5-1? A tall task, but not impossible

 

Probably just need 3-3 to host both tournament rounds and that’s really all that matters.

 

Kentucky goes to Florida and hosts Vandy.

Arky hosts state and then goes to A&M.

4-2 might get it but probably 5-1.

 

Better wake up.

 

The two bracketologies out this week thus far have us at 4 and 5.

 

Would love a sweet this weekend for Mothers Day. Perfect gift for my wife.

 

Im worried about this series for some reason.
