4* DT Quay Picou from Georgia just committed

My question was more centered around the issue of how many top flight linemen would be willing to commit and therefore if he took another top guys 'spot'

 

Or he was one of the top prospects Butch and co wanted. Who knows?

Neither do I. I do like that this guy was stolen from Urban.

He looks nasty in the film. That's good enough for me. I'm sure he's someone the staff really wants and they probably already know where the other guys that we had a shot with will end up. Tuttle and Settle are probably going elsewhere. McKenzie is a lock and DJ Jones we probably get.

If one of the others wanted to come, Im sure something could be worked out.

 

I don't think we'd take this guy over Tuttle and Settle. That is assuming his value wasn't boosted by the appeal of Smith's commitment.

 

Who knows, but I do know if one of Tuttle or Settle wanted to come in addition to McKenzie, Jones, and Picou, I'd be figuring out a way to take 4 at DT.

Your probably right though, which is why I think they know Tuttle and Settle are not coming.

There's no way we would pass on Tuttle if he wants to come but I've heard he's a heavy UNC lean. I've heard Settle may have some major grade issues but Butch could still be tempted to roll the dice if he wants to be a Vol.

Either way, McKenzie, Jones and Picou is an outstanding DT pull by itself.

 

Drew Richmond seems to be the only one left that I know of.

 

We lead for left tackle Drew Richmond from Memphis. Probably a top 3 OT in the country. Kid is a beast and better than Antonio Richardson was coming out of high school if you ask me.

 

We need more.

True but Richmond is super tight with CBJ, best friends with Charles Mosely and he was tweeting back and forth with Jack Jones today about all the commitments UT landed.
