Let's start with the sheer size of freshman defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie. Plenty of folks have noticed that McKenzie is the only Vol consistently in white cleats rather than the standard black practice-field cleats. That's because McKenzie's shoes have to be special ordered because of the size and width of his feet.

Additionally, McKenzie's shorts and uniform pants also had to be custom-ordered. Why? Get a load of this: McKenzie's quads measured 37 inches in circumference; as in, his two thighs are a combined 6 feet, 2 inches around.

 

What a guy

 

When I think about KMac and Shy I tend to always wonder how impactful their presence will be for Barnett and Maggitt. I know these guys are freshmen but they're not built like freshmen. They could make life easier for two guys that were the best duo in the SEC an arguably the entire country. Then you think about a guy like JRM who had 101 tackles last year and how their presence will give him even more room to make plays.

UT has the talent and is almost there in depth to be one of the nastiest defenses in the country.

 

The DE's and LBs must be salivating a gallon of spit every 5 minutes right about now. bet it is impossible to keep them hydrated.

 

McKenzie isn't a normal freshman mentally, either. He's been in and around NFL locker rooms his entire life. He knows what to do to succeed

 

Watching the way they react in that COL vine. They giddy.
