I don't think that minor league baseball's attendance woes are reflective of the greater product's appeal.
Baseball teams have been doing off the wall shit forever. There was a midget pinch hitting in 1951. I don't think this proves much of anything.
It proves that baseball sucks balls. It also proves that they are much more likely to become the next Nitro Circus than NFL. And anyone who doesn't agree is a stupid *******.

Crazy uniforms and marketing campaigns are just part of the American minor league sports tradition. Baseball's is just a lot more established.

This is a great thread - baseball just plain sucks and there's no arguing that either. I tried to watch 5 minutes of the ASU/UT livestream Saturday night and I couldn't do it. The only reason I even got to 5 minutes was solely based on the fact that Tennessee was written on one team's jersey.
What are you trying to accomplish with your anti-baseball posts? Do you think your opinion is that important? And this is coming from a guy who has watched about 15 total minutes of college baseball throughout his life.
