Not the best, but the Sullins twins way overperformed and carried us as walk-ons in 2009. We don't have that Hardesty year without them, because there was no cupboard behind them. This is a tangent from the greatest list, but it popped in my head.
Sadly, this is one of those positions that I just do not have a lot of knowledge about. They are the near invisible men on the field until they fail.
Bubba Miller and Charles McRae? Trying to think of the OL for Andy Kelly, Tee and Manning when we ran and threw on everybody with big holes and clean pockets
If we’re just going with people that we’ve seen play then I’d include Fred Weary, Antone Davis, Arron Sears,
I think these are all "all-time" threads, Tennessee football is just so history-rich that it is hard for most of us to go too deep before our time.
Best overall in my lifetime is Jeff Smith. Others that were the best in the country in their time : The OLs of 89 & 90 (Myslinski, Mcrae, Still, Davis, Fischer) The OLs of 93 & 94 (Miller, Layman, Mays, Ratliffe) Raleigh McKenzie Bill Mayo Harry Galbreath Mickey Marvin Bob Johnson
