I was just poking fun at TD. I completely get the sentiment of how can a failed Senate run in TX propel a candidate forward. I get that. He’s been a member of Congress for 5 years now. It’s early. No doubt. But he, by the force of his politics and brand, will be the reason he runs if he does - not his Senate bid. What he did was impressive and I think there is a national appetite for him and his politics. Had he beat Cruz, it was a done deal. But, I’m not counting him out yet.
