If the players want it, give it to them. Black was the original jersey color, and this could easily become a new tradition.

I would have to agree with you. I am not that big of a fan, but if it helps get the players excited, you could do it. I don't see a problem with doing it for every South Carolina home game. One game every two years is not abandoning tradition.
