When I first saw this thread title I immediately started thinking - what if DR hadn't made the one handed catch against Vandy??? Might things already be different at UT.

No way Dooley survives last year if he loses to Vandy and UK.

But regarding the OP - amazing catch. He will do very well in the NFL.

Wish he was still in orange. We may have won some games though and secured Dooley. Meant to be I guess. Stars aligning and shit.

 

Still blows my mind to think that we could have had Rogers, Hunter, and Patterson on the field at the same time. Could have been the most talented trio of WRs in UT history.

 

I still think he would've been our most effective WR in 3 WR sets. He is incredibly tough to jam at the line. I will NEVER forget his big grinnin' ass after being sandwiched between those Cinci db's in the end zone and still making the catch...was priceless.

 

I started the inevitable coaching search thread the day Da'Rick left. I knew what was coming

 

This catch single-handedly helped his draft stock. Though I believe it's going to be pretty high anyways.

 

It was definitely a sign of things to come, if not their catalyst.
