Echoing sentiments but met Eric at tin roof one Friday night. Him being one of my favorite vols ever mixed with being entirely wasted lead me to probably annoying the crap out of him for a good hour. Never would have known it though. He was genuinely engaging and was willing to take all kinds of pictures with people. Talked old vols and the abortion that was Dooley. Great player but an even better person. No doubt in my mind he beats this.
Two things we know: 1. EB underwent a full physical in June and nothing was seen. 2. After feeling discomfort in his chest, an MRI identified a "mass" in his chest. That means this mass has been growing with the quickness. With respect to Lymphoma, this is actually good news.
Again I should note that he complained of discomfort in his chest. That's key. Also key is that he's a 25 year old male. Smart money is on Nodular Sclerosis. Nodular sclerosis (or "NSHL") is a form of Hodgkin's lymphoma[1] that is the most common subtype of HL in developed countries. It affects females slightly more than males and has a median age of onset at ~28 years. It is composed of large tumor nodules with lacunar Reed-Sternberg cell (RS cells) surrounded by fibrotic collagen bands. Most common in young adults. It often arises in the mediastinum or cervical lymph nodes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lymphoma
Thanks Kid, that is actually pretty reassuring. You moonlight as a physician now? You're just short of joining the priesthood and becoming a one many bar joke.

Ambulance chaser, imo. Best of luck, Mr. Berry. I know he'll attack this fight with even mire tenacity than he displays on the field.
