I wasn’t freaking out to begin with. If Heupel had been here for the past 5 years and had the Vols rocking again, then yeah… I’d be freaking. As it stands, no freaks given.
I remember being pretty aware of college football in general for a kid as young as I was, yet having to ask my dad who the orange team was with the pawprint on their helmet when upon seeing them on my first NCAA playstation videogame. I genuinely had no clue they existed. Dad told me it was Clemson and informed me how they are a terrible program. They will suck again soon enough once hypocrite faux preacher Dabo's schtick gets old.
They’ve took our place because we had some of the laziest and arrogant bastards running our football program like they were hiring a humanities professor.
Yup, when we are rolling, programs like Clemson, UGA and Auburn almost always simultaneously suck. Those three programs in particular are probably our biggest adversaries on the recruiting trail because of how the college football landscape forces us all to fish in the same waters. I'll always hate Butch for allowing Clemson's mini dynasty to feature generational Tennesseans as the cornerstone of their program.
I went through there all the time to get to Kentucky Lake but there's literally no other reason to go there that I can think of
Vince Dooley is the most overrated "SEC coaching legend" in the history of the conference. Herschel Walker single handily saved his legacy
clemson and auburn for sure. UGA is a different beast. They’re just so loaded with instate talent. It’s truly amazing that they’ve not won more championships but that’s on the coaches they’ve had
I'll always hate Butch just because he's Butch. Butch is that loud, obnoxious general manager of the local car dealership in a tv commercial. In their minds, their words & actions are the stuff of genius, but everyone else hears the immeasurably stupid bullshit of an obvious con man who isn't very smart or particularly adept at the con game.
