Huge Day.

Great game by Tatum and Golden. They had to make a difference today and did. We are better than Vandy inside, but we evened up in the backcourt today.

I'll give some props to McBee as well. He played solid D.

Tatum just shut down Taylor. Maymon and Stokes beat Ezelli on both ends. If Melbourne doesn't have a decent game UT wins by 15 going away.

 

Great senior day win. Great end to the regular season for Cuonzo and the Vols.

I'm practically giddy about it. Cuonzo seems like a good guy - glad to see him having success.

So, we're guaranteed fourth seed now, right (with Alabama's loss)? I don't mind giving UK an undefeated regular SEC season if it means 2nd place for the Vols.

 

Did Stokes ever get that sixth block?

 

Did he need it to pass McRae?

 

We may not get in with one more win in the tourney. But we should IMO.

This team finished on an 8-1 run, including going 3-1 on the road. That's a fantastic finish.

What does this do for our RPI? We need a lot of help there.

Serrano and the boys added to the huge day by beating Texas today.

 

Looked like TBA was rocking today. Wish I could have been there for it. I'm still waiting on those black curtains to go back up....

 

Duke just got manhandled by UNC.

 

Apparently our RPI only went from like 82 to 75ish.

 

As far as UConn and Pitt, we played both, so I doubt that moves the needle much.
