Not all that unusual with all the coaching turnover. New guys become available that we want more than the guys we have committed. Or a new coach extends an offer that a recruit didn't have before. I think we worried less about this in the past because we rarely had any commits anyone worth a crap wanted.

Yes, big time talent. He wasn't rated last year due to his grades being so bad. I've heard that he would've been ranked as high or higher than Hurd and Malone if he had his stuff in order.

 

Good to hear. If he can rival Sutton's ability, combined with what should be a nasty DL, we should be really tough.

 

I'll put it like this, LSU and Florida never offer JUCO defensive backs and they were after Martin hard.

 

Yeah, I'm really pumped about the defense next year. The DL and secondary both should be extremely strong.
