Did Muschamp retain a special teams coach or something, because this guy is talking about punt blocks from several years ago. Can't say I've ever watched to see if anyone else is doing this stuff.
I think this is a major stretch... After a set amount of time, you release your rusher and go down field to cover the return. The punt took too long to get off, the fullback missed his block, and this thread of events led to the block. There is that sort of "hooking" on any given passing down by any team.
It's a [ussy pay] way to teach your team how to do something. It is technically illegal but it will never be called. UF isn't the only team that does this. Frank Beamer is pissed right now.
