Turns out the kid in the Giroux sweater was just telling Carcillo how many shots Claude has in the series. (Stolen line, obviously)
Giroux is one of the best all around players in the world, but it's not the shooting. The guy is simply an amazing passer and has ridiculous vision. Will back up and play D, put a body on someone and play all over the ice. If you're looking for a high volume shooter and deadly scorer, I don't think he's the guy.
Goes without saying, but he's still good for 3 a game, give or take. Daniel and McD have donr a helluva job vs that line, all things considered.
