Burnes takes a no-hitter into the 9th with a 3 run lead and they don’t even let him try to close it out? I realize his pitch count was relatively high at 112, but not unheard of.

I’d be pissed off if I were him, even though the closer did finish it off - so he counts as part of a joint no-hitter.

Jays scored 11 runs in both 7 inning games yesterday and 22 in the first 6 innings today. 44 runs in 20 innings, lol.

How are they distinguishing the 2-seamer from the 4-seamer? And He really only has 1 strike out from a 2-seamer?

13 games to go. I still have very little confidence in this team as a whole. They could drop 13 in a row and I would not be overly shocked.

However, I never expected Lester to come in and look................good? He's pitching well right now.

 

The bullpen seems to be somewhat sorted and that was what was really holding them back.
