From the number of people (all of those who have posted on the subject) in my feed that think the NCAA is the biggest group of idiots and are completely overreacting, I can tell I must be living on another planet. It seems reasonable to me - and I already knew they were idiots but not for this.
Part of it is that the last 3 or 4 years have lulled people into thinking reality itself is subjective and can be interpreted to fit their preferences.
My feed is weird. I have plenty of folks who trade off time between posting about media hyping paranoia and what to do to keep yourself safe (with varying degrees of accuracy). I'm wondering if the gubmint shouldn't have started slipping lithium into the water supply or contrails instead of whatever it has been.
Not surprising they were among the first to call things off. They have a lot of experience with the effects of social distancing
