this has to be a joke...someone can't be writing this and be serious....I am a SCAR fan and even I agree that Fulmer was BY far not Tennessee's best coach...UT has been blessed with some good coaches through the years..but "The Great Pumpkin's" downfall was his inability to adapt to changes in college football....I argue that he lost this in the late 90's, even when his team was still winning and winning big..but continued with success because of the Tennessee name and tradition...after a while that became just an afterthought...the last 8 years of Fulmer...many kids who are now recruits did NOT grow up seeing the Tennessee on a national level that I saw growing up...now..they see Bama, Florida, Southern Cal, Oklahoma, Texas, LSU, even Ohio State...
