If Gottlieb or Cowherd were ever beaten and left for dead, I would probably contribute to the defense fund if the people who did it.
What’re the odds he comes out retirement in couple of years for the right situation. Can Indianapolis prevent him from signing with another franchise in say 2021?
I think his contract basically goes on hiatus, so when he comes back he will still have however many years tied up with Indy.
Thought Indy could make some serious noise with a healthy Luck. Can’t blame him one bit for getting out.
My initial reaction was laughter, at the idea that the Colts shit-canned Manning for this clown. But reading about what he’s been through in his short career and hearing about the content of his announcement to retire, just makes me truly sad for the guy. I would imagine that unrelenting pain would be so intolerable as to quickly evaporate whatever benefit its suffering attains.
The Colts were absolutely correct in shit canning Manning for this “clown”. Where they then when wrong was continuing to employee a GM who apparently didn’t think offensive linemen were crucial to winning football games. And that falls on the moron owner who has somehow managed to win one Super Bowl with, arguably, the greatest QBs of their respective generations.
I don’t watch the NFL beyond the playoffs / Super Bowl. I definitely haven’t kept up with Luck, and had no idea of what injuries he’d endured throughout his short career, until he announced his retirement. Until this thread, I assumed his injuries were just bad luck, and didn’t know that it really resulted from the organization who never built around him. Good for him for escaping the shit hole. I stopped caring about the Colts, their players, franchise, owner, fans, city, state and anyone associated with their organization, however casually, exactly one millisecond after they dumped Peyton Manning. That is, with the singular exception of wishing them and theirs every bad thing, in every possible way, continuously, in all matters large and small, of any import, and just as I will continue to do so until the end of time itself.
KMF and Norris, at least you still have the Dolphins... https://sports.yahoo.com/miami-dolp...unsil-kenny-stills-kiko-alonso-234535824.html
