Vandy was already bowl eligible with their 5 wins because of APR. There are 40 bowl games this year. There aren't 80 teams with 6 wins.

Hell, even Butch wielded quite a bit of power the last 2 years after the season and most fans supported him. They praised the raise and extension in late 14 when the fans were skeered he would go to Michigan even though there was zero % chance that would happen and then another raise in late 15. Just amazing.
