Everyone understands the commercial deal was not the original plan, correct? Flying commercial was (allegedly) the plan after Trump notified them of military plane cancellation.

 

That is how I understand it as well.

 

Literally don't understand any of this, nor care to. It isn't much an issue to me. It's just pettiness.

 

So was she going to fly commercial from the beginning? Absolutely not. Was the commercial backup plan legit? 50/50.

 

Of course it's petty and largely meaningless. I just wanted to clarify for anyone interested because a lot of folks (not here specifically) seem to think Pelosi said she was flying commercial from the start.

 

I think she had her first class ticket to Belgium ready to go, so, strictly speaking, yeah, I think she was going commercial for part of it.

I like the analogy. I wish there was a third option of "kind of". I do think she was going commercial for part of her trip, but she certainly left out a few critical details.

Oh, and by commercial, I mean she probably had some lobbyist pay for a first class ticket on Emirates Airlines or something.

I honestly prefer our government like this.

They’re almost all lying pieces of shit but at least now the cards are getting shown to the table instead of giving the illusion of being above the fray.

I care. I don’t want to see how my food is made. I know hotdogs are all the parts of the pig—I don’t need to see that image stamped on the packaging.

This “I want government in chaos” is a buyer’s remorse coping mechanism.

 

I don’t want it in chaos. I do like the sunshine be applied to it though and would like to see all presidents get this scrutiny.

I think Trump is a bad president and I didn’t vote for him. However I hope his value is having Congress take back some power and hopefully people being more engaged in the process.

 

I think Congress asserted their power when Mitch blocked any Supreme Court nominations.

But I get the appeal. I think the wrong guy is getting credit.
