of the 3 abortions I know of, 2 were nonviable never gonna be sort of abortions. I don't know what the proportion is, but it is not gonna be small.

You cant do a straight comparison there. Too many unbalanced factors between America and 3rd world countries. Whether it be prenatal care, living conditions, culture, you name it.

In the video, Republican Delegate Todd Gilbert asks Tran whether her legislation would let a pregnant woman who is dilating request an abortion if a doctor certified that the woman's mental health was impaired.

'My bill would allow that, yes,' Tran said

I'm not making this up. Northam just described how the process would work, which is disgusting.

What about Ireland pre-abortion legalization? Poland has really strict abortion laws. There are countries with better health care than the US in terms of availability and outcomes but higher stillborn an infant mortality numbers.

Hell, Alabama has the highest infant mortality in the nation. Access to abortion surely plays a role.

No, he didn't. He was describing when patents would decide to resuscitate a baby who wasn't viable. Tran handled the ridiculous question poorly, mostly because it was an absurd, non-realistic scenario of a politician looking for a "gotcha!" moment. They were looking to characterize this as some kind of bill to legitimize infanticide, so they've attempted to construe the commemts of Tran and Northern as supporting it. But, it's horseshit, expecially trying to present Northern's as such. That's why IP, correctly, noted the political hatchet job this has been.

Bet. The market would control the insurance portion of this, and the rest would be left to the legislators and courts.

None of this moves the needle.

Also ignores WIC, food stamps, and Medicare for pregnancy for those that qualify.

I think IP is right in that it requires going down a rabbit hole of a whole host of other tangents.

Since we're supposed to go full retard in this thread, the slippery slope actually leads to the gubmint telling you who and when you can screw cause socialism.
