Spending more money makes me nervous especially for something we know can never get cut after it passes.
You have to cute the current welfare system to make UBI work. I don't think that will happen so both will be a cluster. UBI with no wage laws or getting knocked for working would be interesting, if you cut the other stuff
Does this mean I gets more money if I have a whole bunch of kids? Because I'm totally not willing to do that. My time is worth way more than $350 a month to raise a kid until 6, and only $250 a month for a teenager.
The problem with ubi is it won't replace anything. Will just be added on top, which makes no sense if a ubi is supposed to allow people to do the things they need assistance for now.
