It’s obviously baseless because there’s no evidence yet, but I’d take Pruitt over the following: Mark Stoops Barry Odom Derek Mason Joe Moorehead Matt Luke Ed Orgeron Chad Morris With a few promising seasons he can easily jump Will Muschamp and Dan Mullen in my mind.
It is but I'd be interested to see everyone's full rankings or even ranking of those that have already coached in league. Lot of unproven and/or mediocre in the league.
I might be biased but I’d only take Nick Saban, Kirby Smart, and maybe Gus Malzahn over Pruitt right now. Pruitt hasn’t proved a thing yet but I think his potential is extremely high. To me he has a higher ceiling as a coach than any other coach in the SEC minus the 3 I listed. I never gave Dooley or Butch a chance, and for the first time in 9 years I’m optimistic about the program.
