A bit early since he’s not even stepped on campus yet, but the more I think about it, he should start year 1 if he’s as good as advertised. There’s no point in giving him a redshirt year if he’s likely to be an NFL prospect after 3 years regardless. Get him up to speed while we load up in the 24/25 class and let’s get every bit out of these 3 years as possible. Love you, Bazooka Joe, but unless the staff thinks he’s the difference in winning the east (which should be more than possible next year), I don’t see much point in trotting him out there when we could get Nico reps. Just something I’ve been pro/conning in my head and wondered what my favorite idiots think about it.
I am very interested in seeing Milton these next two games. I really don't want to trust this offense to a true freshman.
Nico weighs about 160. Milton’s team till he loses the job imo. He’s been a good teammate and deserving.
I don’t see it being anything better than an 8 win season if we’re relying on a true freshman at quarterback. He’s going to have his WTF moments. But if Milton isn’t clearly the better option, Nico may be the right play.
i don’t think hes the weight he’s listed and we need to run from the qb position. Would rather wait in that
Milton has two games to show what he's got. An L today would definitely change the perception about who's job it is though.
