"29 players will be boarding the plane for their first road SEC game." STFU Lyle. Get out of my university you hack, cliché spitting conman. EDIT: Sorry, put "win" in there instead of "game". He said "game". I think my desires put that in there.
Or, as usual, is reminding everyone that his team has freshmen and sophomores. Thanks. Ours is the only team in the country play freshmen and sophomores to the tune of 40% of the roster. Only one.
I've officially reached the don't care point. It's Florida week, and one of the folks in the office said it to me all excited and I just shrugged my shoulders and said, "yup, #11 in a row probably coming". I've worn orange every day or the week this week before. I'll watch it and all, but even in 07 and 08 when I knew we had less than zero chance I at least hoped we'd win. I can't even must enough it have any emotional feeling other than ambivilance.
It's one thing to do the Lou Holtz poor mouth, but his pre-emptive excuse making drives me ****ing insane.
Which is more likely this weekend - Vols beat FLorida or Norris kills Butch upon his return from G'ville?
How many of those 29 seriously going to contribute? Tuttle, Philips, Kirkland, Jennings, Abernathy? Anyone else?
His constant talk of freshmen and sophomores as liability has to have some psychological impact on them. Clearly the expectation is unpreparedness and underperformance. It's ok for them to suck.
