If I'm not mistaken, we had a drive in the '04 UF game that covered 80 yards, and resulted, in a TD that was completely on the ground.
I could be wrong, but I figure it takes more energy to defend the run than to execute a run. Whereas passing is a zero-sum energy tactic.
I think it's going to come down to who's the better pass blocker with our offense. Don't think Young is an every down back nor can he match up against the bigger LBs blitzing. He'll be a package player.
I've watched that drive so many times. I was only like 6 or 7 at the time of that game, so I didn't really appreciate how amazing that kind of smash mouth football was. Now I get movement every time I watch it.
I would have hated to have tried to tackle Henry. He ran so hard and low to the ground. There was nothing to hit but knees or shoulder pads.
