Well back when the bribes were fresh they promised that their artificial clouds technology would overcome playing in a [uck fay]ing desert. It's not really fair to blame FIFA for not knowing that wouldn't work out, it was a perfectly reasonable risk mitigation.
City down a man and still scores to win. Doesn't hurt when you can have Halaand come off the bench....
I know this is the most talented team we've ever taken to a World Cup, but I've never had less hope for the USMNT. The tactics are gonna be so bad.
Would be hilarious if they found a loophole and he had to join them, like when they got Adam Banks to join the Mighty Ducks. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/20425926/ashton-united-transfer-man-city-erling-haaland-world-cup/
I’m nervous as shit for this World Cup. We might (keyword, might, with heavy stress on might) have a title winning side this year and I’d hate for anything to happen to one of our key guys. On the flip side, if one of our guys wants to step on Harry Kane’s ankle Friday, I’m not gonna get too upset over it.
God protect Rafa Leao and Theo Hernandez is all I ask I’m just not in World Cup mode. I guess part of it is the Qatar stuff but mostly it’s just not supposed to be happening in December.
Same. And I’m not even remotely excited about the USMNT. If we rip off a few wins the jingoism will kick in, but I’m not gonna get excited until I see it. Usually in international tournaments I just want all the Arsenal guys to play well and be successful but this year I’m just like, “yeah please don’t get hurt”.
