Guarantano played better than he has in the past, but he is still a liability. He's never going to have touch, but if he can limit the high balls (and keep from one-hopping them), he will be serviceable this year.

Chaney forgot he had running backs at points. Shocking

The secondary needs work on something. I don't know if it was assignments or skill or missing personnel or what, but I held my breath every time they blitzed.

Pass rush was okay, just okay.

How did Grey not score on the flea flicker?

Banks is dumb and a liability.

Matt Stinchcomb is still terrible.

The best off field moments were easily the Pruitt interviews.

 

Tyler Baron played well in limited snaps. He needs to eventually start and let DeAndre Johnson come on to rush the passer.

Can't remember if it's been mentioned, but check out Alontae on the INT return. He's a good 6-7 yards behind Henry and just flies into the play to make the TD happen.

I thought it got the job done. Could have been a bit more disruptive from the interior but made some plays. That pick 6 doesn’t happen without Johnson.

 

Simmons played a ton of snaps.

 

It’s hard to miss that many easy throws. If he had turned the ball over at all we would’ve lost. So I guess that’s something.

Middle of field too wide open and zero dlinemen getting their hands up. We coulda batted several of those quick balls but dont appear to be trained to. Bull rushing on a quick route over and over seems silly.

This still gets me and maybe miscommunication on both ends but the early post corner, this safety is absolute toast. Wr should turn around now with arm flailing imo looking for a leading ball to hit him in stride.
Instead, 30 freaking yards downfield a ball drops from the sky as help has time to recover.
