In fairness, I always expect coaches from the same coaching family tree to stand up for each other.

Having other coaches stick up for you is, usually, a pretty clear sign of incompetence. Of course, Saban said we should've kept Dooley, so I may be wrong.

If UT gives Martin 2-3 more years, he'll still be a bad coach. Should be plenty of seats available in Thompson Boling.

Not exactly, but it does seem as though he is implying it. At least the way it's written up:
