Johnny Majors on offense. (Just don't ask him to field punts.)

    Al Wilson on defense. Always.

After looking at the tape, Scott Wells. Did Cosey Coleman play center?

Not seriously. Was just thinking of a way to change the no option to an option.

ah. Makes sense. Then maybe Condredge is the guy.

No doubt. Condredge with these receivers would have us all misty-eyed.

I guess you all agree with me that manning is overrated.

I would definitely like to see Shuler with this offense.

How about Dustin Colquitt? It'd be nice to pin an offense behind the 10 for once.

yep, I'd definitely say that punter is the biggest place for improvement on this team.

Can I say Chad Clifton in light of recent events?

That was my first thought as well. We need a solid LT and we don't even have anything that resembles a solution there.

However, that's not the most immediate need for us, I don't think.

QB play wasn't bad on Saturday but a quality QB with a little mobility could potentially carve up teams and would more than negate the gain of a quality LT. We could have Jonathan Odgen and that wouldn't really change anything.

Shuler or Holloway. A plus for Heath Shuler is he already has a commercial where he explicitly states he wants to go back to college. Win/win.

This brings up and interesting question I've always wanted to ask.

    This is to everybody, btw.

What year did UT have it's best offensive line?

I only really started following football around 96-97, but I thought 04's was pretty good considering we didn't really have elite talent at the RB talent and still had two 1000 yard rushers.

That 04 line, nfl wise, wasn't that great. Sears was the only draft pick out of the starters if I'm not mistaken. Munoz would have been if his knees and back weren't shot.

Rob Smith was a really good guard too.

I also think Cedric Houston gets underrated by a lot of people. That guy was extremely good.

I liked Houston a lot, but I don't think I'd call him elite. It's a shame he couldn't stay healthy (was it his knees?), cause he could have at least been a serviceable backup for an NFL team.

That's it. I believe he was on the Jets for a year or two before having to stop.

Anybody remember people proclaiming that Jabari Davis was going to be the next Jamal Lewis? What a crock of shit that was.
