Not sure they need him that bad. They recruit pretty damn good as is. Lupio joined the staff initially as an analyst and that is about as high of a position as I see Tee getting.
I believe they are able to talk to the players when they are on campus. They are also able to watch film and evaluate prospects so they can help there. Any in's they have at high schools would be utilized as well.
Sounds pretty likely that he's gone at the end of this season. Which means head coach Clay Helton will be looking for a replacement OC. Would be convenient if he had a relative that already had some experience in that department.
Tee getting scapegoated. Their offense has been ok, and I love how their defense gave up close to 500 yards to *checks notes* -- ARIZONA STATE -- and he's the one getting demoted. I'll fight every man that comes after Tee, and yes, I wanted him for our coach when I thought our options included Dave Doeren, and the guy who gave up 70 points to West Virginia in a bowl game.
If I had to guess, Tyson isn't going to a sinking ship. Tennessee gets better oline play next year, the offense is good and Helton gets a HC job.
it's almost impossible helton doesn't get fired at this point. maybe if they won out and squeaked into the pac-12 championship game, but that ain't happening. ND is also going to beat them by 30.
He’s done. Him calling plays is having the chance to go out on his terms but anybody who gets to that point has almost no chance of weathering the storm.
