Y’all have all been around here long enough to know the media around here aren’t asking any tough questions.

Vandy but I guess that doesn’t count as a true road game. He was meh in that game but weather was a factor.

    Why didn't Nico play today?

He has a wrist injury. They weren’t going to use him unless there was an injury to Milton

Because Tennessee only had a 17 point lead

Heupel brought this up on the coaching show, and I had forgotten this. Last year Bama played AP and struggled too. It was 17-0 well into the 3rd quarter

Sometimes shit happens. Beat Florida and nobody will care

People are upset only because it makes us think we might not beat Florida (and/or other SEC opponents). On its own, it means nothing.

We might not beat Florida is a reality I’ve lived in since about 1991

In all seriousness and in this particular season, it probably helps that we have had some struggles going into the Swamp. Because otherwise there may be TOO much confidence.

This might just all be building up to " We beat Florida at home worse than we beat Austin Peay."

If it clicks, we very well could. If we keep misfiring on third downs, we could get run out of the building, even with their struggles. Range of outcomes is as wide as it’s been in a while.

Torn between “Milton needs to see it work a few times with live bullets flying” and “we can’t walk in there expecting a cakewalk.”

If Tennessee struggles on 3rd down, it's an ugly 17 to 20 game.

After the South Carolina game last year, I’m not going to discount the possibility of the defense totally laying an egg, especially with Pili out.

Pili was such a huge part of last year's defense

He was replacing a big part of last year’s defense…who happened to miss that South Carolina game.

I don’t think it’s especially likely that we have that same kind of breakdown again—that seemed very much like an “everything that can go wrong will go wrong” game. But we’ve still got some holes. I don’t think Florida is well-positioned to take advantage, but it wouldn’t be the first time a mediocre offense played out of their minds against us.

    They are worse than mediocre.

Alabama could’ve easily lost 5 games last year too.
