1. That's the way to get road wins against inferior opponents. Get control early and keep them at arm's length. 2. Alabama is a flatlining program. There were more t shirts on seats than people in them. 3. Darius Thompson is handling his elevation to the starting lineup well. He's not forcing the issue. 4. Jordan McRae looks to be on the verge of the kind of roll he went on down the stretch last season. The Florida game looks like an aberration. 5. I feel bad for Trevor Releford. He's in the same position Devan Downey was a couple of seasons ago. 6. UT didn't play the 1-3-1 perfectly, but it was effective. They were able to keep Alabama out of the lane with it. 7. When Josh Richardson shoots as he did tonight, I hold out hope next season won't be a disaster. He and a healthy Robert Hubbs aren't a bad place to start building. 8. It's good to see Coach Martin finally realizing what constitutes his best rotation. Welcome back, AJ Davis. 9. Jarnell Stokes controlled the paint as he should. His effort is becoming more consistent. 10. I firmly believe the game Wednesday night will determine the course of the season. That's a win Tennessee must get.
1. Sums it up well. Bama is not not very good and UT showed it. This group has given bad teams a chance which has resulted in some bad loses. Hopefully that continues. If it does, they ll make the dance.
We've risen to 39 in the RPI index and have two easily winnable games over the next week. We could be looking at an RPI in the 20s if we can close out 8-2. Great write up, hat!
