PJ posted a pic of his wife lying on the beach in an white bikini with a very distinctive orange paisley pattern on it. I took that pic, zoomed in and cropped out everything but her crotch, so as to look like a triangle (wide at top, point at bottom. I flipped the image upside down (point at top, wide at bottom) and made it my avatar. It became the source of some speculation, and I am 99% sure that even PJ asked about it, wanted to know what it was, etc. It said it was Merlin's hat. It was my avatar for the last 2 years I was on VN. Someone finally told him after we started this site, and I left / was banned.

On the decommit front, found this lil nugget on good ole VQ, TIFWIW. On Jaret Guarantano: "He's following Butch wherever he goes per sources. Normally I would disregard as total horseshit, however, with 3 other decommits earlier in the day along with a lil shadow about Butch's future, I would say anything is possible.
On one hand...it depends on who TN hired to replace Jones. And Guarantano was just welcoming people to TN. On the other hand....perhaps Jones is marketing himself as a package, bringing Guarantano with him..
