It will be alarming that his peers in the coaching world don't want to come work for him, if he hires a no name after taking all this time to get it right.

They’ll all be sorry one day!! They had their chance to join up with perennial Sleeping Giant Tennessee but nooooOOOOOOOoooo!!!! They had to go off chasing the “good” jobs.... SUCKERS!!

    Doug Matthews looks dumb.

Too early to be saying that.

Disagree. His statements about us having our man "95% " qualify. Maybe he was running with stuff Fulmer wanted him to, but it still makes him look dumber with every day that passes.

Not really. He didn't give a timeline. If it's someone like Streeter, it will have been 95% done since whenever Matthews said that.

In 48 more hours, the list of coaches that one could reasonably assume that we were waiting will be down to 1 (Streeter).

Abandon all reason, ye who follow this coaching search.

Or pretty much anything else related to Tennessee athletics...

Except basketball. We've got ourselves a team.

True, but even that defies reason given Tennessee’s men’s basketball history...

Come on man. At least 4 coaches have been interviewed since Mathews said that. It was a dumb thing for him to say.

Interviewed according to...the people who need clicks for revenue? The people who say Gruden isn’t an option then chase airplanes at TYS?

No, but he has about 2 radio shows about UT he would like fans to listen to.

Fulmer probably told him he had his guy. The guy was probably Yurcich, and he bailed at the last minute when tOSU opened up. Really is this simple.

I bet his sponsors would like a decent amount of listeners.
