He's on the CSS show sometimes and I enjoy him when he's on.

Fwiw, Jake's last name isn't Carter. It's Reed. Guessing that threw some of y'all off

Jo knows I've always been a huge fan of Dale Carter. He prolly felt sorry for me and gave me an easy one

Good job vfb. I thought Raynoch was your all-time?

It's just my trivia contest angst coming through. Nothing against you at all, bill.

He's your favorite interview and likely mine as well. But I've always liked Carter and will never forget his interception to end the 91 Sugar Bowl against UVa.

Raynoch is my favorite name, on my favorite LB corp, on my all-time favorite team.

Ftr, I didn't write this question with vfb in mind.

But I have been thinking all day about our bad boy Vols... who is worth fighting for and who needs a good dose of your fired. I always think of Dale Carter in these moments for some reason.

Yeah, Raynoch or Shazzon. Both good ones.

    I see that now. Thanks.

For what it's worth, he was always reported to have hailed from Oxford, GA in TN publications.

I always hated when he is/was simply referred to as Ray. Didn't do him or name justice.

Good catch. I sourced this through another publication, but you are right. The media guide lists him as Oxford.

JaJuan Smith used to be from Decatur one week and from Cleveland the next. I think it actually changed officially one year, but I don't know why.

If he were from Oxford, GA would you have got it?

Nah, I was just late on seeing the thread.

As far as Jujuan Smith, he lived in Decatur but never went to Meigs County HS. He was listed as Cleveland in publications but never went a day to a Bradley Co. school. Somehow he went to McMinn High his entire career but was never attributed to living in McMinn.
