That 2008 team remains the best I've ever seen.

Couldn't have played with the mid 90s teams.

More overall talent, but not a better team..

If Percy Harvin isn't the best college football player I've ever seen, he's at least top 5.

Here's a good measuring stick for that: which player on an opposing team caused your heart to skip the most beats whenever he touched the ball?

For me, it's Harvin, and by a comfortable margin.

    USC was better that year.

Disagree. The Gators had no true running back, which put too much of the weight of the rushing attack on Tebow. If he couldn't get it done, they were sunk.

And he could t throw it. The title game they won was a ear disaster against a team that couldn't defend.

The Nebraska team that boatraced UF in the title game was better than Tebow's title teams.

Yeah, I think if Saban gets to Bama a year earlier that team likely doesn't even win the SEC.

But seriously, Reggie Bush, Darren McFadden, Jahvid Best (when not concussed), Barry Sanders and Eric Berry with the ball in his hands

That was the best football team I have seen in my lifetime.

Certainly in the discussion. They played four top ten teams and won by an average of 31.

I have said the same thing in just about the same words.

They lost. At home. To Ole Miss.

They were very good, but if Barry Bonds can't be in the Hall of Fame the East German offensive lines can't be either.
