Also, if a damn life coach or whatever is meeting with the victim to convince her not to press charges, it is circular logic to say his lack of action was justified by no LE action. Maybe had someone in the know reached out like a human being and offered support this would have been addressed sooner.
I don’t disagree with any of that. The question is, does Meyer deserve to lose his job for employing someone after being notified of a 2015 incident that was investigated by police and no charges were filed? If so, that’s fine.
Hard to imagine going down for some assistant coach I’ve never heard of. Should have jettisoned him back when he was at Florida. Definitely wouldn’t have rehired him in Columbus.
He's Earle Bruce's grandson. Earle Bruce hired Urban as a GA at Ohio State and then hired him at Colorado State.
I'd say he doesn't lose his job, but he deserves the heat. This is a stain that can't be washed out and will follow him for a while, if not forever.
Nah, we went through it with Butch Jones, these midwesterners are so nepotistic when it comes to coaching football that they're damn near inbred.
I'll be surprised if he's fired just because it's Ohio State and Urban Meyer, but dang...this is pretty bad.
